Founded by Alyce and Josh Lees in 2022, Varli Building has quickly grown to now employ 10 people. In its short history, the company has already won two Master Builders Association awards and it has been appointed to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission panel.

Founded by the Turner family in 1988, the group specialises in major infrastructure, urban development and mining projects across Queensland and New South Wales. Seda Opals has been a retailer of opals for more than 30 years. Established in 1990 by Paul Sedawie, the company sells rough opals stones, cut opal stones and jewellery. During the past 14 years Seda Opals’ business model has significantly shifted towards selling opals via online markets. So far, the Mermaid Beach-headquartered business has sold around 750,000 opal stones through its online platforms.
